EVS Stories: Verghineh A.
Il Servizio Volontario Europeo è un’incredibile opportunità per imparare, crescere e dare il meglio di sé.
Quello che non ti aspetti è che è anche un modo per ricevere un’enorme quantità di cose belle.
Ecco a voi la seconda storia EVS: Verghineh è una ragazza armena ed era con noi nel 2013 assieme ad altri tre volontari, Hana, Carlos and James (vedi la storia di James). Anche Verghineh ha condiviso la sua esperienza con noi.
"Essere una volontaria di Legambiente Sernaglia è stata una meravigliosa esperienza di vita per me; prima di tutto perché ho conosciuto tantissime persone carine che sono diventate parte della mia “famiglia” in modo molto veloce e semplice, e poi perché ho viaggiato, imparato una nuova lingua, sperimentato una nuova cultura.
Non sono stati solo otto mesi vissuti in un paese diverso dal mio, ma è stato anche un periodo dove ho ritrovato me stessa, scoperto quello che mi piace, le mie passioni, cercato le più profonde motivazioni e anche studiato le mie debolezze. Sono stati otto mesi ricchi di momenti dolci, divertenti e felici insieme alla mia “famiglia” EVS e ai miei amici internazionali conosciuti grazie al progetto.
Ogni piccolo angolo di Sernaglia è così presente e vivo nel mio cuore, il CEA, la pizzeria di Stefano, le Fontane Bianche, Villa Aida.
Proprio per questi indimenticabili momenti la mia partenza è stata davvero difficile, trattenendo a stento le lacrime e cercando di abbracciare tutti il più possibile. Ma sono sicurissima che ci incontreremo di nuovo prima o poi."
Tutto e tutti saranno sempre nel mio cuore.

The European Voluntary Service is an unique opportunity to learn, grow and give the best of you. What it can be a little unexpected, is that it is also an opportunity to receive a huge amount of good things.
We're bringing you the second EVS story. Verghineh is from Armenia and she was with us in the year of 2013, with other 3 volunteers, Hana, Carlos and James (see James story here). Verghineh wrote and shared with us her EVS story.
"Volunteering with Legambiente Sernaglia has been a great lifetime experience for me; first of all meeting so many nice people who became a part of a family so quickly, travelling, learning a language, experiencing new culture etc.
It's not only 8 months spent abroad but it's been a time when I found myself (well partially); found out about my preferences, passion, motivation and weakness, it's also the 8 months which filled my life with so many sweet, cheerful and happy moments spent with my EVS family, and, of course, the international strong friendship with the former volunteers.
Every other corner and part in Sernaglia is so close to my heart; CEA office, la pizzeria di Stefano, Fontane Biance, Villa Aida.
And because of all the unforgettable memories it made my departure from Sernaglia so difficult, hiding my tears and trying to hug everyone who I am pretty sure will meet somehwere, sometime."
So, tutto e tutti sono sempre nel mio cuore.
